Greetings, I am the new webmaster for LAMA and would like to have feedback from our members, and visitors, on how to improve the website and any information that you would like to see added to the site. Your feedback, both positive and negative, will help us improve and keep you informed.

I plan to post a monthly update, in this section, to keep members informed on the clubs plans and what’s happening at our monthly meetings.

The June Lama meeting was joint meeting with LAMA and the Gulf Coast Blacksmith Association at John Perilloux's shop. Derek Melton gave a very informational introduction about Induction Forging. He covered the equipment needed, cost to operate, sources for purchasing equipment and answered all questions asked. He has a page on his website, meltonforgeworks.com that has all of the information available to review.
